Evidence for safer lives
CIPRB is one of the leading public health research organisations in Bangladesh. It conducts research and evidence-based programmes to prevent injuries, strengthen health systems, improve maternal and child health, and address noncommunicable diseases — working with government agencies and national and international partners.
From Anchal childcare centres that protect under-five children from drowning, to survival swimming lessons and professional lifeguard services on Cox's Bazar beach, our programmes turn evidence into action.
- Anchal – Childcare centres preventing drowning of children under five.
- SwimSafe – Survival swimming skills for children across districts and Dhaka.
- Beach lifeguards – Trained lifeguards at three points of Cox's Bazar beach.
- Road safety – Support to government on road safety systems and policy.
